MP09 Graz

Powerful yet elegant, the building—composed of two sections cut at obtuse angles—stands on a base of exposed concrete that compensates for the site’s levels. The structure consists of alternating layers of black and transparent glass. The block-like appearance of the five-story building is softened by slanted surfaces, sharp angles, and a glass façade that tilts outward at 30 degrees.
