Ulrich Schick — Team Leader Project Development

Why I work at WICONA: I’ve been with WICONA since 1991 because I’m part of a great, and above all, highly committed team. Together, we contribute to the success of large, international projects that focus not only on innovation but also on sustainability.

What my working day looks like:As a designer, I focus on developing project-specific window and façade systems, as well as custom solutions for exceptional buildings – always with an eye on creating solutions that are energy-efficient. I also oversee the technical testing of these innovations and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared for production.

Favourite work activity: My true passion lies in developing new and ambitious structural designs – turning visionary ideas into engineered reality.

Why I work at WICONA: I started working in the aluminium industry 20 years ago, and that decision shaped my entire career. To be honest, WICONA found me – and it changed my life. I love challenges, doing things differently, and finding ways to improve. At WICONA, I get to do all of that every day.
