Developed in close collaboration with architects and engineers, each system is customised to meet specific project demands — from complex geometries and performance criteria to sustainability targets.

Founded in 2009 and located in Bellenberg, Germany, our Test Centre is one of Europe’s most modern facilities for testing windows, doors and façades. Featuring two 100 m² test halls and stateoftheart test rigs we conduct comprehensive tests according to EN standards. 

When standard productnorm system tests aren’t enough – especially for special structures or bespoke project solutions – we offer individual testing programmes. Successful façades receive the CE certification confirming compliance with European directives and enabling market distribution across Europe.  

In close collaboration with the renowned ift Rosenheim institute, our Test Centre strictly follows accredited testing procedures based on recognised industry norms — guaranteeing reliable, precise results every time.

From aluminium billet to precision – where WICONA profiles take shape 

Since 1990, our extrusion facility in Bellenberg, Germany has been manufacturing high-precision aluminium profiles for windows, doors, and façades – exclusively for WICONA. Operating 24/7, the plant uses stateoftheart presses and tooling to manufacture both standard profile systems and bespoke special lengths. Some profiles are delivered directly to the adjacent Test Centre for comprehensive quality testing. 

In addition to standard and project-specific profiles, the plant also produces composite profiles with integrated polyamide insulation – enhancing thermal performance across WICONA façades, windows, and doors. 

The close integration of manufacturing and testing at Bellenberg ensures the highest quality and reliability across all WICONA products. 

Logistics and finishing – delivering WICONA worldwide 

Most aluminium profiles produced at our Bellenberg extrusion plant are shipped directly to the Service and Logistics Centre in Gerstungen, strategically located for fast, efficient distribution across Germany, Europe, and beyond.  

In addition to logistics, composite profiles with integrated polyamide insulation strips are produced on-site. The facility also features a dedicated powder coating plant operated by our partner HBS Coating GmbH. Profiles are picked from the warehouse, coated on-site, and shipped globally — ensuring streamlined processes and quick delivery to WICONA customers worldwide.
