Facing the airport, this 4-star hotel’s curved design draws inspiration from an aircraft fuselage — the habitable section of a plane. Completed at the end of 2022, the building’s striking black, brown, and white exterior reflects both modernity and luxury. The distinctive trapezoid-shaped WICONA façade wraps around the entire business complex, providing comprehensive thermal insulation.

A Key Challenge: Acoustic Performance

During construction, nearby road traffic presented major acoustic challenges: “Road flows were more of a constraint for us than the runways and air traffic,” explained Laura Portier.

BREEAM Certification

To avoid excessive energy consumption, the buildings in the complex are powered by geothermal energy. The area stands at the forefront of sustainable innovation, with over 60% of its energy supply coming from renewable sources. As a result of its efficient resource management and strong environmental performance, the complex was awarded BREEAM certification at the “Good” level.
