Over the past four years, the NEXT Studio in Frankfurt (Germany) has established itself as a unique information, communication and networking platform for everything to do with the building envelope and has developed into a genuine "think tank" for the window and facade industry. For architects, facade planners and project developers as well as fabricators and students, the motto there is "See what's NEXT".
Top-class trade events on site and as a livestream
In 2017, the NEXT Studio initiated by WICONA was launched as a true "pioneer project". In addition to WICONA, the aluminium system house belonging to the Hydro Group, leading industrial partners are presenting current product developments, forward-looking concepts and reference projects relating to urban architecture, building envelopes and sustainable construction on an area of around 800m². In the construction industry, the cooperative studio concept has made a name for itself as a platform for top-class events and intensive networking.
A particular highlight is the "International NEXT Facade Summit" which is held several times a year in English under the motto "Think Globally, Act Locally". Here, leading minds from world renowned planning and architectural offices present the challenges of international facade projects using outstanding examples of best practice.
Unique industry platform for specialist information and networking
Another key success factor of the innovative industry platform is its cooperative approach. As well as being able to find out about the innovations of a single company in Frankfurt, customers and project partners of all participating NEXT Partners will also have the opportunity to look thematically "outside the box" and to view and experience "live" the latest trends at a central location. The exhibits on display are constantly changing.
