In his presentation, Ruben will relate about Cepezed’s design approach, which includes a strong focus on the minimization of materials as well as on prefabrication, circularity, demountability and long-term user possibilities by means of flexibility.
Ruben Molendijk (Tilburg, 1983) studied architectural design at the Technical University of Delft and the Universittà della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio, Switzerland. During his training, he worked as an assistant to the professor and as a volunteer with VVKH Architects in Leiden. In 2008, he graduated with honor and became an assistant-designer with Claus en Kaan in Amsterdam, where he mainly worked on a series of designs for among other projects office and residential towers, a hotel and a cultural center.
