Innovative developments in the WICONA windows series are characterised by optimum energy efficiency. For WICLINE 75, the new protected insulation web technology makes its debut in Munich – it enables thermal insulation values to operate at those of a passive house. Due to the intelligent mix of materials in construction, Uf values for casement and reveal combinations can be attained in the order of 1.0 W/(m²K) without having to install insulating strips in the bonding zone. This means that installation times are considerably reduced. The new WICLINE 75 is fully compatible with all accessories, fittings and tools used for the WICLINE 75 evo.
WICONA goes a further step in energy efficiency with the new WICLINE 95 series of windows. Thanks to a U-values of Uf = 0.79 W/(m²K) and Uw = 0.80 W/(m²K), they are certified by the Dr. Wolfgang Feist Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt with a class phB passive house efficiency. The primary insulator for the WICLINE 95 is installed inside the window and can be produced and simply clipped on by the operator, just as in a casement frame. This not only permits easy installation of the thermal insulation, but also variable adaptation of the U-value of the window.
