To meet the specific requirements of the project (i.e.Uw=1.8), WICONA proposed the WICLINE range of windows which offers good thermal performance. No special products were developed for this project. The owner and architect’s target was to set up a landmark residence in Beijing, with low energy consumption, and end user comfort technology. The specification in Beijing at the time was Uw=2.6. The Beijing One project was quite innovative with its performance of Uw=1.8.

The WICLINE product range is the ideal solution for construction projects with stringent requirements concerning flexibility, appearance and thermal insulation. It offers a multitude of applications and includes different levels of thermal insulation

Thermal testing was carried out according to Chinese standards. At the end of the project, the Uw test result was 1.78.
