Held every year since 2003, Fenestration China is one of the world’s top three window exhibitions in terms of both quantity and quality and is Asia’s most important trade fair in the industry. This year, 480 exhibitors from 60 countries presented their products on 70,000 m2 of exhibition space.
The Chinese market is booming; it is expected that demand for energy-efficient and innovative products will grow louder and louder over the next few years in line with the country’s size and population, as China is now seeking to confront the enormous energy losses it sustains as a result of insufficiently insulated windows and doors.
The Wicona brand, which has been established in China since 2006, is building its awareness day after day aside main competitors of the building market there. For the first time, the brand has shown at Fenestration China its knowhow thanks to innovative products such as the high-insulation WICLINE 65HI, the high-end system WICLINE 75 evo (MINERGIE-P-certified and suitable for passive houses), the WICLINE 125 composite window and the WICLINE 90SG all-glass window as an insert window in structural glazing curtain walling. The versatile WICSLIDE 65 system, WICSLIDE 65FS folding/sliding element and the WICSLIDE 160 lifting/sliding element represented our folding/ sliding systems as a guarantee for excellent thermal insulation. Our exhibition portfolio was rounded off by the WICTEC 50, the sophisticated jack-of-all-trades among mullion and transom curtain walling, boasting thermal transmittance values of under 0.8 W/m²K and the WICLINE 75 ventilation window, which allows for tall and narrow ventilation flaps in large-scale fixed glazing.
