Hydro’s acquisition of Hueck is completed, strengthening Hydro Building Systems with its brands.
Hueck is a family-owned business and provider of aluminium systems and extruded aluminium profiles, with HQ in Lüdenscheid Germany. It has 500 highly skilled employees, two extrusion presses and an integrated cast house operation.
Hueck Systems is mainly active in Germany, the largest segment of the European market for building systems and has 60 years track record of German Engineering. It is specialised in creating solutions for windows, doors and facades for the building and construction industry and a distribution platform in its main location Lüdenscheid. Besides Germany, Hueck is active in Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, and UK but also in other markets through well-established partnerships.
With this milestone we will demonstrate our commitment to building industry by teaming up two well established organizations to create value and serve our customers better. We will go beyond our sustainability strategy with recycled and circular solutions. We are deepening our digital approach to support the evolution of the building industry, and we are going forward in developing new innovative products. Welcoming Hueck into our family allows us to accelerate our growth strategy and presence in Europe.
